Our portable SS-81 sand shaker is an accurate mechanical sieve kit designed to provide reliable grain size analysis. It features 12 stainless steel screens ranging in size from U.S. sieve no. 8 to 60. The samples are placed into five acrylic cylinders and volumetric percentages are indicated on the shaker frame.
